Show and Tell Tuesday in July

I'm excited to once again join Show and Tell Tuesday with Forever in 5th Grade. Today I am going to focus all of my pics on nErD Camp (the last time I will talk about it - maybe)!  Click here to see other Show and Tell Tuesday bloggers.

Last week I went to camp - nErD Camp (click on the link to gets tons of resources for your classroom)!  You read that correctly!  This is a camp for teachers.  The best part of this camp is that it's FREE!  It's also phenomenal! It's 2 days up close with authors, illustrators, and other teaching pros.  There are tons of sessions to attend.  The only downside of this camp is narrowing down what sessions to attend.  They all sound great!

This was my swag haul from camp.

I got to meet all of these authors and have them sign books for my class!

I had to show proof that I actually met some authors.  Here's a pic of Raina Telgemeier and me.  If you don't know her, she's the author of tons of graphic novels (super popular in my classroom) like Smile (which I got signed)!  Check out my affiliate link to see her book.

If you ever get the opportunity, I highly recommend checking out nErD Camp!

I see you have a Kate DiCamillo book. She's a great author too!

  4. Thanks for sharing about NerdCamp. I've never heard of it. Maybe next summer I will check it out. I have family in MI and sometimes can pick up a conference while I'm there. Last year I went to the MCTM conference in Traverse City. I'll have to check this out. ;)
